Saw these for sale on ebay recently... fun stuff.

BUT IS IT CANON???


Hopefully the new Remake will include a similar survey.

“How likely are you to recommend Heroquest to one of your friends?”

There should have been an option for “i’ll go on a Heroquest forum every day to tell people how much I love this game, even three decades after it has gone out of print”.

Judging by the professionality to which it's worded, as well as Milton Bradley's old stamp and address, it looks authentic. If it's not, it's an excellent forgery.

Obviously it came out of America as it makes no meantion of Wizards of Morcar or Against the Ogre Horde. I had to laugh when reading over it. $10 for KK or RotWL and $15 for FH & MotM. My those were the days. I wish I had more appreciation for the game back then. I might have collected them while they were cheap.

Same here! Those same packs go for hundreds of dollars more than that now...

Then again, I could just imagine how frustrated we would have been at the difficulty, even at the age I was then. I had started to get tired of the game around '93/'94 (being more interested in video games), and I'm not sure an ultra hard, buggy quest pack would have done it for me, but who knows. Maybe I would have worked in the house rules and just used the elements to make my own stuff like always with my siblings.

I still remember my dad sending that form in to order the Barbarian Pack. I was excited. Then, we got the letter in the mail, “Sorry, but we are no longer making this product.” HeroQuest went on the shelf for good after that, we had already played through it all, and that was pre-internet.

I can confirm they are authentic and vintage, I have my original never mailed in. Mine came in Barbarian and Elf Quest packs. I also have half sheet color ads ( in Kellar's Keep and Return of WitchLord) and a full sheet color ad with Battlemasters on one side and HeroQuest on the other.
Notice they are prior to the ElfQuest copy right legal trouble and subsequent box renaming of that particular Quest Pack.

I also mailed into them and got the same notice.

Not so rare, I should have a couple of interviews and even more of the mailing order flyers.
They were included in the Game-System and in the quest packs.
