I'm not sure if it has been posted here before but someone by the Name of Mattia Pruscini has made a Beastmen expiation. It can be found here and downloaded in English.

There was also a box made for this expiation but you can't download it just yet. That's were this post comes into play, I am working on translating the box to English for Mattia using google translator as I do not know Italian. But there are a few parts in the translation that does not make since. Could anyone here that understands Italian and English please help us to clear this up. First, in the description of the expiation: Nascoste nella Foresta della Ombre, attendono il vostro arrivo! Il branco si raduna attorno alle Pietre Nere dentro le Cripte sotterranee, solo i veri Eroi possono avere salva la vita! Which translates to Hidden in the Forest of Shadows, they await your arrival! The pack gathers around the Blackstones inside the underground Crypts, only true Heroes can have their lives saved!
(The English to this sounds choppy)
Second, under the Contents of the pack it says: Compendio (un manale dettagliato di eventi, per lo svolgimento delle Avventure) Which translates to
Compendium (a detailed manual of
events, for the unfolding
of the event) (The English on this sentience came out pretty bad) I think it should read more like this Compendium (a detailed manual of, events for the layout of the quest) but have no idea what to do with Compendium? The last translation sounds OK but is it accurate or should it read another way? 8 Ambientazioni e nuovi tasselli rappresentativi
Which translates to 8 Settings and new representative elements
(But should the new representative elements, say new miniatures)? Any help with this would be great and then I could finish the box for Mattia Pruscini. Maybe when this is done it will be made into a download for anyone who wants a box.

Not sure I understood what you mean, but the expansion was originally made by Mathieu Pascal and translated in several languages.
The Italian version wa stranslated by Yon from the Italian HeroQuest Forum and Rinnegati.net team and revised by Aelfwine (another Italian member).
The English translation was by Knightkrawler and clmckay.
The Italian box you're talking about was made by Mondor and is still available for download on the Italian HQ Forum.

Your google translation is correct, you just have to find the correct words in English to make it doesn't sound "choppy".
I will try to help you a bit to better understand the meaning but the problem is that also in Italian it doesn't sounds... epic as it should (to me) .

The Compendium is the second book included in the questpack, it was called this way from the original author. It means it is an extra book that helps you to play the quests in the correct way, adding more details and some spoken phrases.

Thank you very much for your help, even though you felt you didn't understood what I meant - you were spot on. Also it was nice to learn more about the history of this expiation and who had a hand in it.
I was able to finish translating the box to English this morning.




I hope the English translations I did, do justice to the original box that everyone worked so hard on.

While the box looks good, the images posted here are 72 dpi which looks fine on a computer screen but not when printed. Are the originals in 72 dpi?

No StratosVX, the originals are at 300 dpi. I only posted this first to get help with the translation. Then when I was finished earlier today I wanted to show Lestodante what his advice helped me come up with. I sent back the translated files to Mattia Pruscini today. I would imagine that soon enough the English box would be something you can download from https://sites.google.com/site/thedarkstonetrilogy/ Once they upload the files.

You left the MB Italy references (next to the MB logo)

Beastmen should be 1 word.

Lestodante, I left the MB Italy references there or did not change them because that was what was on the box when I got it. All I was trying to do was translate what I was given and if it should be something else I'm not sure what that would be. Unless I pull the info off one of the North American boxes for that info.

j_dean80 I did check to see if Beastmen was one word or not in the file. I did have it as two words and I updated my files. Getting ready to re send them to Mattia Pruscini.
