I just bought a 3d printer and want to print the board and walls. I work a lot so it will take a long time but wanna have it all painted and ready when the new one is released.

Painting. A lot of painting. And probably rebuilding a classic HeroQuest set to upgrade the cardboard to plasticard. That’s likely to keep me busy for a bit!

Refocusing on my Warhammer models in the interim, though I might acquire and paint some alternative models for when HeroQuest arrives.

7 months.. not a whole year.

Really? I thought I read somewhere next October. So if its only 7 months thats not to bad

The return to the dark tower is supposed to be delivered in February so I'll hopefully be sufficiently distracted for a little while with that. (Hopefully a little better than fireball island...)

Apart from a couple of custom cards and some coats of varnish on a few painted minis, my HeroQuest work is basically done for the time being.

I plan to work on other hobbies and just play the dang game when I can in that time. Sure, its tempting to start converting mods over to the Remake format to get the ball rolling, but for now I'm content to leave that to others. Not knowing the exact dimensions of the cards might slow that down a bit, but if we just go with US game card size, that is probably a safe bet.

As always I look forward to seeing the great stuff people here come up with, and the lively debates over minutia.

I do have some walking dead zombies to paint, so might try to get used painting again bcos it's been a couple of years .

Wow really, I thought it was like Fall/Autumn next year so about 11 months or so away

It probably varies by region. So 7-11 months to me might as well be "a year" before you'd actually have the game in your hands.

I'm not going to forget about Hero Quest in the meantime! Nothing has changed there in the last 30 years...
