It will return ;)

But back to the topic:
I ask myself, if the new game was secretly designed since the other Heroquest project was made public and the game can be bought after the countdown is finished. There are only three month until Christmas and the people at Hasbro should be sales and marketing experts...

The last thing I want is somebody on their phone when we're trying to play a board game together. It's admitting you've assumed a certain generation can't do anything unless they're on their phone if it were required (again, assuming it's a hybrid and not a straight up video game).

I’m just hoping for a board game so we can get new official quests and expansions.

Yes, I've seen ERUNE BoardGame, it is extremely interesting - but I think that having to talk with a robot could kill the immersion of the game itself...Well, we will see.
Anyhow - I will still buy HeroQuest 2020 if it comes out. I'm so obsessed with it, that I won't resist the opportunity to buy it.

Imagine if you have to use an app with "Zargon" having some kind of AI generating insults and spooky phrases with a randomly generated quest. could be interesting, I suppose. like that "Nightmare" VHS board game (released around the same time as NA HeroQuest).

I wonder if Heroquest is SO old that they realise an appeal is the retro factor - keeping the design principles of the era (eg no phone) but just improving upon them. I also hope they've read every single post at the inn.

I have always wondered if Hasbro has scrolled this site to see if it's worth it to them to re release the game. After they have gotten so many letter from people asking for a the game to be reproduced.

It's probably a long shot, but I think a best case scenario would be that one of the Inn members is on the development team.
