Printing stickers as replacement cards and tiles?

So I've bought 3rd party replacement stickers for several if my old toys from the 80s. I'm curious if anyone has tried printing replacement stickers for Heroquest or Battle Masters?

My thought would be to have replacement cards and tiles printed on stickers. Then I could apply them to old Magic or playing cards. That would allow a more authentic feel than using paper print outs.

Thoughts? Recommendations?

For cards, it would be better to use a card printing service. Somewhere like PrinterStudio or Artscow. They have sales every now and then that make it cheaper than their outlandish standard prices.

I completely agree, however I am not very good with graphics. I don't think I'd be able to format the cards properly for the printer.

I know that Wizards of the Coast uses stickers to do their play testing.

I've searched eBay and found lots of home printed replacement stickers for various toys and board games. However, I can't find any replacement stickers for HeroQuest or Battle Masters.

I'd like to replace all my old yellowed stickers.

Any ideas?

the ones used in 'make your own adventure' thing? for Heroquest?
if so, there's plenty of scans out there, and recreations of the icons so you can print on sticky paper and do maps...

Heroquest doesn't feature stickers.
Unless you are talking about the Adventure Design Kit. Or maybe about the cardboards used for the furniture?

Battlemasters ("from the makers of Hero Quest") used stickers, for things like shields (also flags?) and unit labels for the various bases figures were slotted into. I've never even played BM much less owned a copy, but I'm sure scans exist, but can't vouch for their quality. All you'd have to do is print this out on sticker paper (or have a print shop do it for you) and then cut out with knife/scissors.

Infamously, the recent HQ "card game" used stickers on the dice, but that's probably not what you meant.

Getting my own set soon, so revisiting this... I see at least some of the stickers are scanned on BoardGameGeek (see images gallery)

well, just thinking, maybe he was asking about the HeroQuest Merlin Stickers Album?

Could be! None are needed to play the actual game, but those sticker album scans are elsewhere I think... but you'll need some special trickery to make them holographic if you're re-creating them. Could make them non-permanent or use glue I suppose. I don't have it and less interested, but good luck!
