I have been dreaming up new monsters that will keep an 8 year old interested,(better than daytime TV), and naturally one that came to mind, was the Dragon. Leading on from that would be the need for a Dragon Slayer, making sense here? Well, I went to the site Advanced Search, and would you believe, nothing! Further research on the Web came up with,
http://www.biopark.org/dragonhistory.html. Lots of interesting stuff there, from all round the world, except from the New World. What's up with you people ?, Unbelievers?

No Dragon Slayers out there in the world wide web!? That's craziness! I'm surprised no one has created a Dragon Slayer Hero Class yet.

Begs making the spear "Sicarious Dracorum". Man I love that movie.
R.I.P. Caitlin Clarke. Nice boobies, even we only saw them from the side...underwater.

So , what attributes does a Dragon Slayer need? The site I found speaks of a Dwarf DS, so I sorted through the Dwarfs I have, and found one with a large two-handed hammer, and think he will do the trick. As to attacking a Dragon? Well, the first blow should go to the cojones, this should bring him down to the dwarfs' level, where he can be finished off. What do you think? Any better ideas?

If dragons are represented as reptile family their nuts are on the inside of their very strong skin.
A hammer really wouldn't work so well against scales that are almost steel like in their properties. Swords aren't much better - char needs a magical weapon designed to slay Dragons...
Being rather non-creative, I just adapt movie stuff...but maybe someone else can come up with some better fantasy escapism...

Interesting thoughts there, El-Flesh, quote from the site I found;"In any case in some versions she (the dragon) is killed by Apollo when the young god shoots an arrow down her throat". So, perhaps the Elf would be better, as it has a bow, and casts spells. Another reference says the hero dug a trench, laid in wait, then stabbed up with his sword when the dragon passed over! Keep thinking.

It's pretty much suicide to face them head-on...
even with a Dragon-scale shield made by the beautiful daughter of the blacksmith.

I have been away for the week, to the land of mists, mountains, and haggis. Thinking on & off about this subject. I have found amongst my heroes, an ancient bearded figure, complete with bow. I think he came with a Citadel Painting set, many years ago, never been into battle. I feel he may have been an alternate wizard, so he can cast spells & shoot arrows down any attacking dragons throat. The ideal man? I read somewhere, that Confuscious said, there are old dragon slayers, and bold dragon slayers, but no old-bold dragon slayers. Does this still hold true?
