Solo Game

Hello there!

In a small searching on the website and here, on forum, I look the rules to solo game, but i get a new doubt.


Is it possible to run the normal Quest in a solo game?

How its possible?

Generally, Hero Quest requires at least two players--a Morcar/Zargon player runs the monsters and another player runs the Heroes. Found here in Dewayne Agin's Hero Quest Web Page archive, the is a co-op program that let's you play with just the four Heroes. If you try it, let us know how it went.

This guy made what he calls an app for playing without the evil wizard:

It's not an app though, it's a series of images files that are used to gradually reveal the dungeon. I think it works pretty well.

Yes it's possible to play a Solo game of Heroquest. I made a "Quest" Book (really just a rules set with some optional maps to us, it's all randomly generated though) here called: The Death of Zargon. It's got a little bit of back story to it too which I thought made sense and overall have had some fun times playing it alone.
