Solo Quests?

While I will be running/playing Heroquest with a small group of my kids friends every few weeks on game night, I'd also like to be able to play more often with just one or or both of my daughters so that they are more familiar with the game and I don't need to teach everyone at once.
Are there any quests out there that are specifically for just one or two players? I'd prefer to stay away from the official quests and save those for the full group. And I do know about the solo quests in the Barbarian and Elf packs - I'm looking for other options.
I assume you'd need to modify most published quests (official or otherwise) to limit the number of monsters and decrease the challenge for a smaller party. Any pointers on how to do that?
Thanks!

The best option I can think of is design a couple of your own Quests. For modifying Quests, the best way is to play it by ear. Start by reducing the number of Monsters found in a Quest. If you feel things are either too easy, or still difficult, add some Monsters, or take a few more away. Try not to have multiples of the tougher Monsters on the board at any one time until they are equipped enough to handle two or more. Don't forget, you are the one running the game. You can alter it as you see fit. Throw in an extra potion of healing to give them a boost once in a while, or any other goodies you feel they may need.

@Daniel: I had seen that, actually, but it looks more like a random quest generation system for just one person to play. I'm thinking more of one player and myself. I'll have to play with that though, thanks.
@drathe: Yeah, that's probably easiest. It's whats done easily and on the fly in D&D, but I wasn't sure about how it worked in HQ.

Not a problem my friend I just wanted to make sure you knew it was there. You can't imagine how much new stuff I'm finding on here randomly lol.

As a nec that spends lots of body points per quest, I'm spending LOADS on healing potions between quests... like on the order of $600 gold for 8 1d3 potions.
usually roll a 1 or 2 anyway DAMMIT...
But you can allow the girls to buy loads of healing potions - maybe even allow to go back to town buy potions and come back in the middle of quest.

Fair enough. I can certainly modify things a bit on the fly - dropping monsters, adding potions. Still, as I'm relearning the game I 'd like to stick to the quests and rules as written for a while anyway.
How about recommendations for simpler quests then? Designed for beginning players, so they'd be a bit easier. Most of the home-brewed quests I've found seem pretty complex, adding lots of elements from the quest packs - monsters, traps, etc. Thoughts?

Actually there's a really easy quest that will help teach yours daughters the basics of the game. It's called The Arena by: Jacob Busby look on this page for it it's about a little less than half way down the page in the section marked Agin's Inn Classics. I think it might be something up your alley.

I was about to suggest the Arena and totally forgot about the Maze. I'm sure Phoenix would be happy for the referral. He does awesome work.

Yeah he does. I printed out a few of his quests to use myself.
