Help please on Advanced HeroQuest models.

Postby alyndavies » July 20th, 2015, 3:28 am

Hi guys I'm not sure if anyone here ever had or played Advanced HeroQuest but I have my original instruction manual and was browsing through it and noticed the models and their stats pages. Does anyone know of a way or corresponding the models shown to any kind of reference number for the model in the picture?

I bought the undead champion back in the day in a skeleton box set, though sadly sold it years later, I bought one off eBay today with a hell of a lot of random searching:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/111715684891? ... EBIDX%3AIT

But as it's 2015 not 1989 anymore it's like looking for a needle in a haystack, do any lists exist to make finding these models easier, or does each model have some kind of reference number to make things easier?

Thanks for any help you can give. :D

As far as I know all Citadel Miniatures / oldhammer minis actually have a reference code.
Back in the day you could order specific individual miniatures or parts directly from the factory by browsing through their annuals.

But the problem is that even though a particular mini might actually have a reference number, I highly doubt any sellers would be using it.
I'm afraid the best advice is patience and persistence... :(

Thanks to both of you for the replies, everything is in the 1989 catalogue link you posted :)
