Equipment Card Costs

I've been looking at the North America Equipment cards (both for custom items and the card versions of base equipment), and noticed they don't have costs on them at all. Was that intentional? And where do I find the costs for the custom items?

North American equipment was originally purchased by looking at a
cardboard insert rather than buying cards directly, which is probably why the prices aren't listed. The Inn has a scan of that insert under the Game System section, which I have linked for your convenience. I wouldn't know what the prices should be for customs, though - you'll have to invent something for those yourself.

Dagger = 25gp (US only)
Staff = 100gp (different rules in the two versions)
Shield = 100gp Eu, 150gp US.
Helmet = 120gp Eu, 125gp US.
Short Sword = 150gp (different rules in the two versions)
Hand Axe = 150gp (Eu only)
Spear = 150gp (Eu only)
Tool Kit = 250gp
Broadsword = 250gp
Longsword = 350gp (US only)
Crossbow = 350gp
Battleaxe = 400gp Eu, 450gp US.
Chainmail = 450gp Eu, 500gp US.
Plate Armour = 850gp.

If you are making a homebrew copy of HQ, you don't actually need the cards at all. The only purpose they serve is to restrict the number of each that a party can have, which you may not even want to do. If you print out one of the custom equipment lists then you'll usually see all of the rules and prices in one place on a single page, so you don't have to print and cut out so many pages of cards - save that task for the treasure deck.

Bracers = 200gp (Eu 2nd ed only)
Cloak Of Protection = 350gp (Eu 2nd ed only)

For what it's worth, I ended up adjusting the armoury to be a blend of EU and US stats. It's mch better a price gradient:
