Are there any out there? I think it would be a great idea!

I just heard RPG GAMER DAD PODCAST episodes 3 and 5 that feature Hero Quest (I can't wait for episode 19 that will also have HeroQuest). It would be great if we somehow made a weekly or monthly podcast for Hero Quest!

Thanks PersianImm0rtal - don't know why I didn't think to post here before! Currently I play as GM and my son (RpgGamerBoy) plays all 4 heroes. We roleplay a lot and the bend the rules A LOT - but it's good fun.

Ep#3 and #5 feature 'The Trial'. #19 and #21 will have 'The Rescue of Sir Ragnar' and the others will follow.

Hero Quest was the game that really first inspired my love of RPGs - and got me back into RPGs after a 20 year absence. Now I love it so much that I started my own podcast dedicated to all of the awesome RPGs out there. We have actual plays, interviews, reviews and advice.

I like the plot and rule bending. Yeah, you are a great GM, and the sound effects and everything really make the characters come to life in my head. I never really personified the baddies as much as you made me imagine. Love that boy's imagination too, great stuff!

Strictly, the term "podcast" denotes a technical medium, and in this sense, a HeroQuest podcast would indeed be a new thing (as much as I know). But if you don't restrict the definition to the hardware, but rather look for the purpose, this would be to publish a game (or a series of games) of HeroQuest in a way that allows everybody to take part, like in a tv or radio documentation, but without restrictions of schedule, i. e. everybody can receive every episode at any time.
This is already relized in the Saturday Night Dungeon forum. With all the Ipods, pads, puds and smartphones being able to show HTML sites today, I think this is the best way to accomplish what you want.

The narration, recording, ambient noise, and sound effects makes for great experience. Also, hero quest discussion and news would be covered, not just actual play.

Perhaps I understood you wrong. I thought you were searching for HQ podacasts that are already online / lamenting there are so little.
