Heroic Maps new stuff

Postby torilen » December 14th, 2014, 4:42 pm

Just in case anyone uses them - Heroic Maps has a whole mess load of new stuff out.

INCLUDING - A ship. That's right - they've created a ship tile set - looks like it will be the first
in a line, perhaps.

Check it out.

I'm super, super duper excited. Did you guys see that preview image that's supposed to drop on Christmas Day?

So here's a little backstory. Some months ago, I made it be known that I would be using a lot* of Heroic Maps products to build out the quest maps for HeroQuest Prime. Once they found out, they were totally on board. They asked me if there was any kind of map that I needed that they didn't have yet - and there was. A wizard's tower. They told me that they were willing to reshuffle some projects around and bring the tower to the front of the queue.

So basically, because of my enthusiasm for their products, I get to have a map set coming out much earlier than planned. Actually, I'm not even sure they had planned on making a tower like this until I mentioned it to them.

You guys, when I saw that preview image, the grin on my face was so wide, my face almost split apart! :D

*Since that time, I've decided to do the entire questbook maps with Heroic Maps products. They just look so damn nice!

That is very cool. I've printed two of their newer 10x20 maps on vinyl. They're real nice, I'm impressed with the graphic quality. Since you've gotten to know them, any chance you'd think they'd join here at the inn?

I'd be more than happy to ask. We'll see what happens.

Good idea, as it pulls together the Quest Pack nicely with a single style.

In case you haven't checked them out recently, they have a dockside set now, too.

And a set of "wild places" maps - looks pretty neat - includes a cave entrance and, perhaps,
a farm/orchard area?
