Inked adventure tiles (and feeling like a big dork)

Postby torilen » August 14th, 2014, 9:24 am

I just printed off a bunch of Inked Adventure tiles, trying to run the ink out in our printer so I can
change the cartridges without wasting a bunch of good ink. I'll post pictures after I get the cut out.

But I just had to share this...one of the tiles is the free crypt room. I had a HQ skeleton sitting here
to test the size of the first tile I printed, to make sure they printed well. So, of course, I took the
skeleton and placed it on the crypt room tile to see how it looked.

Then I found myself, only semi-consciously, moving the skeleton around the crypt room and growling,
"rarr rarr rarr".

WOW! right? Really glad my wife was not here to see that.

We're only supposed to do that when nobody is around? That explains a lot...

It's only natural and nothing to be ashamed of.
The only people who should be ashamed of their sound effects are the Transformers movie makers.

And yet, that's the part they should be the least ashamed of.

I just watched the first three back to back. I really can't tell you the plot in any of them (okay, maybe the first one had a hint of a plot). They run around a lot and fight a lot? Besides that?

I kinda like the new TF movies. But yeah, the cartoons had way cooler sound effects. Soundwave's voice, oh, my Goddess, best voice ever. I want that voice back. The transform sounds, that every boy could minic.

I do it even when there are people around :geek: . The best is making monster sounds in public with your kid and having people think it's cute. You can get away with so much more when you bring a kid along.
