Silly Question?

Postby Tomkat364 » July 31st, 2014, 12:16 pm

Don't want to look at the individual expansion quests (risk spoilers). Do the number of figures in the expansion pack cover the monsters used in the quests? For instance, the 3 fimir for kellar's keep... do the quests only use three fimir's or do they count on the three from the base system to use a total of 6 fimir in one quest?

They're meant to be used with and added to the ones from the standard game. You can always get more monsters than that in quest though because the chances are very slim that they'll all be active at the same time, and there's a bit in the rule book that says that if you run out of models then replace the monster with one of the same colour.

What about the mercenary's and ogres from the different expansions? Does their requirement stack as you go or is each expansions complete on it's own?

With the exception of Wizards of Morcar (needs pits of darkness in one quest that are from OH), each expansion assumes you only have the game system.

The first part I did not know, heh. Interesting.
The second part is correct. Addon + base is what you need for that particular addon.

We, on the other hand, like to mix things up in our custom quests sometimes :)
