I don't know...pledge $22, and for another $7 for shipping, you get 12 dice that you get to design yourself.
I'd be designed those speciality HQ dice...double skulls on a side, double shields...triple skulls, etc.

Man...that is real tempting, even to this tight wad.

I've pledged for some of these. I just have to think what to put on them.

I already have coloured HQ dice from that german shop. Never used em yet, but I might. Need a good use for them.

If enough people want the same custom HQ dice, why dont we do a group order through chessex? They put your designs on a batch, offer loads of colours and styles. And works out much cheaper than that KS!
Ive done it before for 2 other forums, Warpshadow and SecondSphere.

Hey everyone!

I saw some traffic to my project coming from this website and wanted to drop in to say thanks for the interest!

Thantos is right, with enough interest, there is always going to be a cheaper option in bulk - generally through getting enough people together pay to have the dice molded instead of engraved (I'm pretty sure my prices are cheaper than Chessex's engraving options). Even with the level of automation I'm attempting to add to the process, there's no getting around that - at a certain volume, molded dice will be cheaper. I'm honestly not sure what that volume is, as I haven't priced out custom molds personally.

Anyway, like I said, I just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the interest in my project. And thanks to LordZeke for helping me spread the word about it!

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, and I'll try to drop in on this thread now and then as well.

not sure how much cheaper it would be after you add all the shipping in all around the world... but I would be interested in getting some HQ style dice made, but don't have the artistic talent to put together the required image files...

Mon frère! So square!

Personally I can't stand D6s that don't have rounded corners. They just don't roll right... :(
