I still play every two or three weeks with my Sister, Brother-in-law and Best Friend.

Despite hugely conflicting schedules, my group generally gets in a game every week or two. The trick is to not lose momentum by taking breaks from playing that are *too* long.

Now if only I could run a second group at the same time so that each happened to meet on the week when the other wasn't meeting...

Couple of games every week, other times its a hero quest project im spending time on as well. :) my other 3 brothers love the collection and sometimes they like to kill a few hours as well. But they all argue with each other most of the time, so having a game with all four players at times, doesn't work out. :P

Other than my 2 (soon to be 3) play by post games I haven't played in forever. I blame my lack of a HQ set (just got one for Christmas in 2013) for the majority of the problem. Now I just need to find anyone able to play (If the game has HP/BP/Life in it my wife won't play it.)

(I like the parentheses.)
Do you PBP? I do. See my exploits below.

I have a group that gets together one or two Sundays a month to play games. It consists of me, my two kids, and my friend JT and his two kids. We started out playing HeroQuest exclusively but we've tried other games such as Talisman, Forbidden Island and Settlers of Catan. We plan to play Settlers again next time we reconvene, but I plan to make sure HeroQuest hits the table soon. Before this group, I only played HeroQuest with my family on occasion.

I have two groups. My wife is DM in one, with my parents in law as heroes, we play rarely, on family occasions.
The other group consists of 3 of my friends, my wife and me, where I play DM. We try to play at least once a month.

I play pretty much once a month. I am the DM, and my mother, father and sister are the heroes. But soon my sister will move because of her studies, so we'll see what happens...

This...
We used to play pretty steadily, but with my girlfriend falling down a flight of stairs and my friend changing medicine, both couldn't really handle the long sessions anymore...
We took that long break and now it's just so hard to get started again.

It's especially because we played through the official campaigns. Starting up again feels like watching half a movie. Nobody really remember where we left off or what the scribbles on the character sheets mean anymore...

And then there's all the stupid life stuff... sod it!
Once we are done house looking and have settled in the new house we'll celebrate with a HQ marathon! |_P
