Quick question

Postby poopgrinder » November 1st, 2013, 4:22 pm

So I got the copies of a couple of the modules on here and I was wanting to know (before I go drop the money to do this) if they are formatted to print out in a front/back print format and they will line up correctly once folded? Might be a stupid question but I'd rather just save myself the hassle by asking people who know before I do something twice. Thanks :D

I might suggest just printing them off one page at a time at home, then you can turn and/or flip pages as
necessary yourself.

If you will print them in A4(European page) do a test first. If I remember well don’t choose “fit to page”. You can also print separate tiles with the HQ Card Maker by giving the mm or inches you want, but it’s not very “user friendly” (http://www.yeoldeinn.com/hqforum/viewtopic.php?f=165&t=1933&p=26667#p26667)

If you want them really nice, and $$$ is no object, order them from STAPLES office supply, color laser printed on 100lb white card sheet. They can do double sided for the applicable tiles! Then get 'em shipped overseas.

This is a relevant question for anybody unfamiliar with printing the downloads. drathe has previously posted about printing out the published expansions he remastered in the booklet format with reverse-side printing. Find the info in this thread.

I still haven't printed anything out, but I'd test print a couple of pages in B+W first to make sure it was right, then go for it in color. Let us know how it turned out.

I have my own questing for the OP. Is there some sort of stigma or story attached to your name?

Actually, yes there is. It's really nothing big but it was so damn funny that it just stuck. This old band I was in, way back when, we just use to ALWAYS just try to come up with really dumb names for each other (mostly while heavy amounts of alcohol were consumed) and one night, the guitar player, with one eye mostly closed and the other looking more or less in my general direction, just rolled out with "you look like a poopgrinder to me!". And this was just one of those "perfect timing" things because it followed that "we've drank too much, far too quiet for far too long" situations.

So, while not funny to most, it's stuck with me for years now. I think it's an absolute riot of a name, but not all have my sense of humor either ;)

For some reason I figured there was some underlying story to it... Everyone has something like that whether or not they want to admit to it.

My name is just a melting of my favorite comic book character's, the term Dungeon Crawler, a hero stereotype in these games, my love of the letter "k", the implied beautiful acronym "kk", a dash of hubris, and my love of puns.
