**Fimir Appreciation Week**

Hello everyone!

In a previous thread about the merits of various HQ quests and expansion packs, it came up that Fimirs get very little special attention in HQ, despite the fact they're considered leaders among monsters.

I admit, I don't know enough about Fimirs, but I'm always interested in learning more about monsters and their backgrounds. Anything to spice up the typical go-to options of orc or undead, you know?

I propose a Fimir Appreciation Week, where we give Fimirs the recognition they deserve.

What do you like about Fimirs? Why do you think Fimirs are snubbed in HQ? How do you showcase Fimirs in your custom quests?

YES. I've seen this guy in the gallery. A real Fimir champion! Even the slight weapon variety in the goblins and orcs is something I'd appreciate seeing in the Fimir figures.

I saw you painted some minis recently--is this fella next in line?

Nope. A regular fimir, along with one of each regular HQ monsters. To plan clor schemes.

I think I never gave fimirs the credit they probably deserved for one reason:
Orcs and goblins are in nearly all fantasy venues - as well as undead.
The fimir, though, was an original creation for HQ and/or Warhammer. With HQ, they
never gave any background to them, no info on them...nothing. And since I never got
into warhammer, I know nothing about them.

He's a shaman or druid (Dirach in the Warhammer background, which only serves as a backdrop for my ideas), having the same stats as a regular fimir, but knowing three spells: Rust plus two chaos spells to be drawn randomly before the quest.
I also made a Champion (Noble in Warhammer) with a beautiful axe, a beautiful cape, and a beautiful shield, and he's all beautiful, so I don't exactly understand why I haven't taken a picture of him yet.
He attacks with 4, defends with 5, has 4 BP and heals 1 BP per round each time he rolls a white shield at the beginning of his turn.
That same special rule I also gave my trolls.
