Choas Spell: Command (Ruling)

Postby Silverstar » May 26th, 2013, 6:30 pm

If Zargon casts Command on a Hero and we need a clarification on if the Hero decides to roll immediately and fails to break the spell, can he try to break the spell on a future turn of his while under Zargon's control? Or is the Hero under the control of Zargon permanently if Command isn't broken immediately?

The Hero gets a try on each of his future turns.

I would like Fantasy Flight to get hold of HeroQuest, if only to remake it with the same kind of literary precision they used with their Talisman remake. Everything in that game relies on prescriptive understanding and particular wording.

I only asked because when you've played Magic: The Gathering, the rules get so scrutinized by how things are worded that it sort of makes the determining factor of a game. I'm used to seeing stuff like "and/or."
