I recently scored a full set of men-at-arms miniatures and perusing the the various auctions on eBay got me wondering: which of the original HeroQuest miniatures is the most coveted?

My guess would be the Female Barbarian or perhaps Frozen Horror from the Barbarian Quest Pack. The various elves from the Elf Quest Pack might be close seconds as well as the evil wizards from Wizards of Morcar. What do you think?

If I could have 1 figure that I don't have it would be the frozen horror.

I'd also say the frozen horror. Elf quest minis may be rarer, but are not so sought after it seems to me.

I figured the frozen horror would be near the top of the list since the other miniatures in that Quest Pack are easier to find substitutes for.

Still, the female barbarian has a certain appeal

I'm going to add a poll to this thread to satisfy my curiosity. I'm going to leave off the minis that came with the game system since these are quite common and I would assume most on this forum own them already. I also had to group some of the minis together since there can only be ten choice. Feel free to elaborate once you cast your vote.

I most wish I had regualar-sized copies of the 4-ups for the unreleased Wizard and Dwarf expansion packs. Too bad Hasbro's nondisclosure agreements won't allow them to be released to the general public. Thanks again to Toco for bringing some of their designs to our attention. I (pathetically) hope they all are someday revealed for a third party independent to produce.

It looks like the Frozen Horror is the most coveted by over 50%. If anyone sees him, please be sure to congratulate him on my behalf

My top picks would be Female Barbarian, Female Elf, Frozen Horror and Sinestra. Two "new" heroes and two bosses.
Usually it's easier to get girls to play if there is a female character available
