Appearance of Orcs (and other Goblinoids)

The confrontation range was all very pretty and shiny, they were also amazingly painted. I think I have a catalogue from 2005 some where around!
As for the chesterfields, that may have to happen!

I dislike the pignosed, furred, babboon-like orcs from the Forgotten Realms books, like on the covers of the Drizzt novels I'm currently reading (the two swords).

They should be greenish/grey skinned, large lower jaws with tusks, sloped forehead, mean, big, muscular.



I like the GW orcs, the oldschool ones a bit more than the new ones, although those are cool as well. (savage orcs!)



But in movies, I kinda like the more "human" like orcs, as in the LotR movies, those are brilliant. And the Skyrim orcs are also a good example of those.

In the name of the king, the dungeon siege film, but they're not really orcs, legended, the 2 big orc guys that are in the kitchen, death dealer films, maybe in one of them theres an orc or something similar with very bad larp make up...

I like eighties and nineties gw as orcs mostly because that is what I first encountered and they are just what orcs look like to me so when I think of orcs that is the image in my head. I think they look alittle too cartoonish especially the newer gw but they are still what comes to mind if someone says orc even though I like the look of dnd orcs or elder scrolls orcs

yeah it did, they were on screen for a whole 10 seconds maybe, worth making the puppet for!

So far it seems you all like muscley Orcs rather than sinewy.
