Kurgan’s GenCon interviews suggest otherwise. It’s repeatedly mentioned that more would have to be done to AtOH and WoM in order to bring them “on par” with what’s in the box of FH and MotM. It’s clear the Avalon Hill team is thinking about revisions to those EU quest packs to add value, making them similar to the expansions we’ve seen so far.

Yes, and they also practically confirmed that they would add quests as well to the original ones. Possibly solo quests but that's just my interpretation of what was said.

I'm gessing they are going to make ATOH the Dwarf quest pack and in a future Wizards of Morcar (er, Zargon) will be redone as the Wizard quest pack.

Not so sure about AH combining expansions. Making each expansion it's own thing will lengthen the lifespan of the game. Plus, it's less work to do since they already have a basic premise and mechanics, monsters etc...

Yeah, I am convinced now, based on the last Encarmine interview from GenCon I'm thinking they're just going to enlarge both ATOH and WOM into 10 quest expansions, and pack the box with extras to the point that they resemble Frozen Horror/Mage of the Mirror/Dread Moon in terms of total plastic & cardboard content, above & beyond what the original versions included.

Maybe both quest books will even have conclusions at the end. I seem to remember those two had nothing to read after the quests were over. Not even a “Congratulations! You destroyed the vile minions of Zargon and saved the universe. Consider yourself a hero.”

And didn't they mention that they were looking at Dwarf and Wizard packs as their own things? Or that he didn't see themselves combining packs together or something like that?

Also, forgot to mention that PULSE CON 2023 is taking place virtually on Sept 22nd starting at 11AM. AH is one of the brands specifically mentioned and art from HQ (including the Zargon symbol) is shown in the teaser trailer and site (https://hasbropulse.com/pages/hasbro-pu ... lsrc=aw.ds)

Hopefully, we will get some reveals as this is common place with other brands when they appear at this thing.
