As far as the rules go, same here.
I tried to make the rule system intuitive and uninterpretative, once learned.
Everything on top of that is modular in such a way that anyone can add anything with the right wording and use of icons.
That starts with my own Optional Rules supplement and ends in any card anyone wants to add using the terminology.
Or in a quest that uses my writing method and adds a new mechanic by describing it in the notes with, again, the right terminology.

As for the wizard, he gets 12 spells out of two decks to be picked before every quest, and can, through regular equipment,
max out at 2AD / 5DD, with the artefact Fireball Staff giving him ranged attacks, too.
My hero academy supplement will further strengthen him by offering further spells, and special abilities to "buy".

Mitchiemasha-that sheets looks pretty cool, despite wanting to keep the game pure trying to fix the wizard is getting out of hand :) I might put this forward to my gaming group and see if they're interested.

It was mentioned before about the skellys and goblins being broke -is this because of the magic or the other additions you added?

Ive prepared the cards on the other thread and have ordered some sleeves to put both the card and the mended rules into. So making progress although I've still to paint the gargoyle and furniture ready for the original quests.

We just did the Trial with 2 new players to the game, character creation took some time... https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzUqo ... VJ4Zzl6RGc ... It was a like a game with in a game, finding out what different classes people liked, discussing ideas.

We ended up with an Orc (Skinny one taken from Dragon Strike) with Berserker and stand fast. A standard Barbarian (he was still serving at the bar so didn't get much time in creation). A Cleric Dwarf Warrior, Stand fast and 5 holly waters (which each can heal 1 BP as it's a Cleric). A Warrior with defence. And a thief with sneak, Agility and a bonus to ranged. I was the EW and it was great to see the skills been used and effectively too. 3 out the 5 did die but that was to be expected. It was easily the best game of HQ I've ever had. The pace that the timer brings, the mind games with Chaos Tokens. The Goblins are certainly not broke, MAM makes what once was a boring character, fun! Not sure what you mean about magic.

I've never seen so many choices be so important in 1 game. Usually there isn't much to decide about but the additional skills, on both sides, seriously change that. And! With out changing the core game, which IS the most important thing.

Hopefully get some printing done myself, treat myself to a laser printer, be lots of cutting out to do.

Here's a print out of the Armoury and Alchemists shop too. https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BzUqo ... nJCR1dob2s

My wizard system can be used independently from the rest. However, I was getting addicted and changed every single card now. :D
Take care, changing the system can make you addicted.

Ok a couple more questions,

The card images you made, are they for eu or us cards?

Should I keep the spell system for the elf too or every to one use cards-given that he can use all of the armoury?

Yes, i spent a full day yesterday modding cards to print.... Here's a question. Why does the pdf (from the inn) have a brown tint on the UK edition cards. My cards are actually black and white. I've noticed a lot of downloaded card sets have the same brown tint on the text, Sjengs card.

I'm making 1 psd document with the cards all combined, each in their own folder layer with in the psd, then choose the edge crinkle border (basically the same 2, flipped Vert/Hor etc, total of 8. I prefer the UK cards because of this very border.

UK cards where printed brown on white for almost all print runs, simulating old-school ink.

I used the UK boarder and title font on my cards, as I find it fantastic!

In Germany they used black white and dark brown-white, depending on the print you got. I think there was even a light brown-dark brown combination, not sure. Certainly in my card set there is light brown dark brown.

For production it is definitely better to do black white without border. You don't have any problems. But it's not that beautiful.
My dark brown is:
Red 59
Green 0
Blue 0
