Just remember to offer them in bunches of 3 and 6 and 12. That's what I would do, with each step offering a little discount.

I was thinking of making them in black too. White are for players a black set for Zargon.

I prefer those mini's from the 80's and 90's that came from Ral Partha. The HQ miniatures look kind of comic bookish. Now I use the hell out of my HQ mini's. They see allot of duty as my minions, but if I had a full set of monsters and heroes for HQ...I'd think about switching out. I already do so for the extra heroes and undead. I mean come on let's be honest...HQ Zombies and Skeletons look cheesy. The Mummies are cool, but it is hard to mess up a mummy. It is a dude wrapped up head to toe...not a difficult concept monster.

Have to get all that figured out later on. I haven't had the time to figure out cost of production. The most expensive thing is paying artists to draw up the models and then the second most expensive thing is getting the molds machined. I was going to go as cheap as possible though. I'm shooting for $2-$3 a figure, maybe cheaper. Probably have to include sets to offset the cost of the customer having to pay for shipping. Shipping is expensive right now, even domestic. I have to compete with ebay and amazon even though these are exclusive miniatures.

Mr. Partha's miniatures are very detailed. I can easily have as much detail as his figures, but was trying to keep along the lines of HQ & Dragon Strike style. I'm wanting to "update" the original HQ miniatures so I will work on that too.

A Hero Quest Chess set would be rather spiffy....
just an idea.....

For the record, the HQ dice are actually 14mm. Maybe even a tiny bit bigger than the mass produced 14mm dice available all around. Hand measured by me, anyone feel free to dispute it but I was very accurate.

I haven't read all the previous posts but as far as new minis go, and with keeping with the standard HQ simple look, the following figures would be interesting:
beastmen
minotaur
troll (a proper one, not like the dragon strike monstrosity)
skaven (ratmen)
wraith (ghost)

heroes:
cleric (or generic human fighter with a bit of armor on, as opposed to the naked barbarian)
perhaps a female hero, not a dwarf or anything, a female wizard would be nice though.

anything too weird by looks or name should be disqualified.
let's not have another "what the hell is a kobold" discussion, but weird names like bugbear (sorry Sjeng :D ) will upset me and anyone else who isn't familiar with them.
