You could sell that on Ebay for a good price I'd wager.
I find myself wishing I had the cash to have you make me one....
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

Would anyone buy my box if I put it on ebay? I'm going to need to make a bigger one soon.

Not to be a downer or anything - but there might be some issues with selling the box on ebay.
1 - the box uses the HeroQuest logo. I'm not sure if that particular logo would be considered
property of milton bradley, hasbro, or ye olde inn.

2 - the box uses the HeroQuest name - and I really do not know what sort of legal issues would be
involved with you trying to sell an object that includes a trademarked name (I think heroquest is
currently held by issaries?? its not the same game, but the name is still in use - or was a few
years ago).

If you were just going to make it for a few friends for some extra cash, I doubt there would be
any problems - mainly because no one would know. You stick it on ebay, however, and the whole
world knows at that point, and the name-holder might think you're trying to start a business using
their product image.
It would kind of be like making a cooler with the Coke-a-Cola logo and name - they would hunt you
down hard core for attempting that.

Just my two-cents. Again, sorry to be a downer.

If the name Hero Quest was hand drawn, painted and listed as a fan made box maybe, but I would be a liitle worried selling on Ebay. Not like the HQ police will come and do anything though.

How well do those adhesive rub-onz hold? Do they scratch or peel off easily?

They hold reasonably well, but they aren't perfect. I think a coat of clearcoat will solve that.

Well, I'm happy to announce I'm making my own box too! :D I'm pretty psyched. It's big enough to hold my HQ board, plus the 2 Dragon Strike boards, ánd all 5 D&D tiles too!
The bottom of the box holds my printed questbook, which has all official quests, the magazine quests, and a tie-in from this forum; it holds the notepad, rulebook, small tiles, dice, character cards etc.
I've also made an internal box for the miniatures and a pack of cards.
I'm going to burn the logo onto the lid :D

If I can, I'll post pictures as soon as I've made some ;)
