Yes, to some degree. You'll see them pop up on ebay occasionally. They are not *super* rare.
I have no idea on how they were released; if it was just a regular release or a small batch just seeped out...

Basically it's the ones you see on the side of the box and on the back of the book.
You'll notice how they are slightly different than the plastic minis in the box.

Here is the complete HQ basic set. I've seen the four wizards from WoM and an ogre. Never seen the FH or MotM ones though.

So what would you guys consider a complete collection?
I'm excluding all the different languages from this list, but sure the ultimate collection would include all language versions.
I'm listing the local versions that are actually noticeable different though.

I have to say that I personally consider Kellar's Keep NA and Kellar's Keep UK two (2) different assets to own. Same goes for the Witch Lord expansion. The NA versions have extra artifacts cards printed on the back of their quest books which the European versions lack. So that makes them a different version. Just like the NA and EU versions of the core game.

What about the Brazilian magazines and the Adventures Unlimited #5?

Im currently considering getting myself psychiatrically tested, 6 months ago I thought I'd buy heroquest advanced edn, then found a more complete set at my mums house, then for some reason bought a normal edition and now I own KK (NA), ROTWL (NA), ATOH, MORCAR, and Mage in the Mirror. I'm now running out of places to hide them from my wife. One day I'll have an epic play through with some worthy adventurers. Im based in Bath UK if anyone wants to join?

I've got to complete Canadian sets,Kellars keep,return of the witch lord,frozen horror and
1/2 of Mage in the mirror(yes 1/2,due to a traumatic incedent involving my twin nephews 16 years ago learning to rip things and step on boxes....let's not talk about it any more...)
I also have enough figures to probably put together another base set,the hero figures for advanced and around 50 skaven.
Honestly it's an addiction really.

I have 1 complete U.S. version plus Kellar's Keep and RotWL all from my childhood. We ordered Elf pack and Barbarian pack and got a letter in return saying there was not enough interest and they cancelled production. Since then I have acquired 4 Chaos Warriors, 1 Chaos Sorcerer, 1 Dragonstrike Dragon, 2 Bookcases, 1 Alchemist Bench, 1 Rack, and 1 Chaos Dwarf from Talisman. Still hoping for the rest of the expansions plus another base game. My base game was in great condition until a few weeks ago my 3 yr old decided to step on the box and now it has a side rip.
