Yeah I have been using the ones by Phoenix to study the Quests in my spare time. So I have known they were available. But I recently learned that he alters the quests here and there so I really appreciate having official PDF files from AH available. I already noticed in Quest one of KK that he has an Orc in a square but in the AH one it's a goblin. I would have hated finding out about it during the actual play through lol!

It took me awhile to realize the Phoenix versions of the quests were modified. Unfortunately I printed up a set of nice color copies of them along with all the cards and tiles from each expansion I didn’t have at the UPS Store. The way I had it printed would have cost me a lot of money apparently, but the guy working really liked the art on the cards and the quest maps so he only charged me for 30 pages instead of 100 or so. I really like the format of Phoenix’s quests, but I was annoyed when I found out they were altered. Now that I have all the new stuff, I’ll probably never use those printouts I made.

Same here. I probably studied Phoenix's versions before I looked at the original EU versions, so knowing he made editorial changes (and not just a few typos errors, I had a whole thread about those, most are easily fixed by Zargon and the players will never know) I try to go to the originals first.

I also think that the EU version of Dark Company is much easier to read than his version... the color coding looks odd, but it really does help break down the divisions (slices of the board really) much easier to me.

But yes, his stuff is generally right, and it's mostly accurate. Some of the alternations are good I think (but some may disagree with them or want to play it accurate to the published official version).

Like he changes the KK mind attack boss to just have the same "unconscious" (instead of "dead" unless someone has elixir of life) outcome as ROTWL mind attack scenario. Some would consider that an improvement. AOTH and WOM were adapted to NA rules (much like the fanzine quests, Dave Morris quests, etc.) but some might say he didn't do enough to adapt them or disagree with his solutions (like the non-variable monster body points).

See, if wish I'd known all of what you guys are saying before I downloaded them. They seemed to be real easy to use but I'm one of those who want to know what the OG quests are like before home brewing. I guess it's my fault. I just find this site hard to navigate sometimes.

I'll stop hijacking the thread now but @SirRick all I can say is OUCH! That really sucks.Tough loss bro!

Don't worry he wasn't the only one who did the same thing...

I don't mind the editorial changes that much (they are mods, after all) and the typos are easily corrected, but I would advise any Zargons out there to read the quests carefully at least once before the adventure and check our threads for the fixes!

Click on the UK Flag icon and then go to the quest pack you want via the navigational buttons in the middle of the page to go to where you want to be. There are also non-Phoenix "special versions" of some of the quest books provided on the forums too, for "Champion" members (14+ quality posts).

BBTS PREORDERS ARE UP!!!

Only front and side cover art shown unfortunately. I still say this set isn't going to have a lot of minis. If it did you think they would show them off on the preoder page! Anyway, happy ordering.

If it has less plastic in the box, that means we're paying more for cardboard this time...? I'd be shocked if that were the case.

Nice catch Tripoli, Blayze & Lucarocks... PREorder link from BBTS https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/244838?o=1

But yeah, no new reveals other than this "Realm of Reflection" ... was that mentioned before? It sounds vaguely familiar, maybe was that part of the MOTM lore?

Realm of reflection must be the mirror world that the princess is trapped in no?

I can't believe there will be 33 minis NOT including the Knight! If we count 8 Cadre members, 3 specters and Sir Rags that still leaves a bunch.

Edit: Hasbro sites lists different number of minis. But they do mention cultists and a Dread Wraith??? That's sound wicked! I hope it's Charlie Sheen driving a bad ass car lol!
