More than 3 years later, I'm back.

Now I fully embraced the 2021's HeroQuest and I'm remaking all my stuff to the best quality I can in the new standard. Also, the "HeroNext" project finally started - it will be one piece at a time, but there are lots of stuff coming up in the near future.

Forgive my ignorance as I'm new to Ye Olde Inn and therefore this thread, but first of all, this is all amazing and I can't wait to look through it more thoroughly. Secondly however, are you planning on updating the initial post with a more up to date link to something like "ALL MY CUSTOM CARDS IN ONE ZIP [updated in 24/jan/2022]" but for the new content you are putting out themed for the remake? Or is it still piecemeal at the moment? Thank you!

So I have finally started playing with all the amazing Odanan cards and new rules. I had a question on equipment: When drawing an equipment card after a search, does the hero keep the card, or write down the item on their character sheet and put the card back in the discard pile. Similarly, when buying an item, is the actual card kept by the hero? Or just written down.

I am playing with my kids, who prefer to have cards to represent their items. I was wondering what others generally do.

Judging from this post, I'd say Odanan intends the cards to be kept.

I had another question about the 'Hidden Chest' treasure card that lets your draw from the Artifact deck. Should I remove all quest specific Artifact cards first? Otherwise a quest specific treasure could be found too soon? Which ones should be removed? Looking at Odanan's current treasure cards, I don't see 'Hidden Chest', maybe it was removed?
