Zargon is my pick. It's what I grew up with.

My vote is for Morcar, i grew up with Morcar. when i first heard Zargon i immediately thought it sounded very cliché.
Morcar, sounded like the a fallen hero returned as an evil lord, Zargon sounded like he should have a thin twiddly moustache that he strokes while laughing diabolically 'mwahahahahahaha'

Am I the only one to favour the name I didn't grow up with? Seems most everyone favours the name they've known since first playing HeroQuest.

"Ming the Merciless" from Flash GourdOn. (He gourded his loins)...
The actor is the great Max Von Sydow. So you got a chinese villain who speaks with a Swedish accent.

My favorite line is: "Fall on your sword."

I voted for morcar - I grew up with zargon - didn't even know about the UK version until I found aginn's inn a few years ago.
I like morcar better - sounds more intimidating to me.

Yes, and he likes to flash.

I like Morcar better, but I voted for the ridiculous 'zargon' because you can change it to "Zarquon" ... H2G2

I only knew of the Euro version released by MB: Morcars Magier (... Das Abenteuer Geht Weiter)
think that translates to (...The Adventure Continues) or (...The Adventure Goes On)
He Who Dies with the Most Loot
Probably Ran into the Dragon
