Chaos Warrior old mini similar to HQ gets Life-giving Elixir

I checked. Alas I don't have that exact old school Citadel mini, I have a few that are similar but Chaos warriors were much less uniform in general appearance back then.
I do have this much more recent Chaos Warrior in the same vein

I also don't like its remake, it looks like Boss Robot from Mazinger...
And here are some of my favourite Slambo painted (by KJ, Jean Peinture, unknown, unknown)
The miniature is very close to the HeroQuest model because the sculptor, Jes Goodwin, sculpted its metal prototype too (the one you can see on the box side) together, with the Barbarian, Elf, Wizard and many more...
Someone on thingiverse modified the original 3D Chaos Warrior by mirroring his right side to create a Slambo STL file.
Also, Les Edwards' sketch with Slambo is worth a mention too!

(I wonder if The Bard had any idea we'd still be riffing on his video three years later? In fact, without it, I'm not sure there'd have been enough push to see the HQ reprint get started, so I BLAME HIM for the Orc BARD… I just won't tell him so if I see he's carrying a brode-sode…)

This is me agreeing that the older "less dynamic" minis were better in many ways. A dynamic statue doesn't make a good gaming miniature, even in miniature scale.
