Sure. As I explained before, just a few things are automatic. most are manual, as in the physical game.

If you want to call me and try "live", send me a private message with email and we see the better time.

I like how this Roll20 project is going! Can you feed new quests into it?

Tabletop Simulator was a cool idea. I purchased it just to mess around with Hero Quest. The trouble is that there are dozens of "hero quest" files on there (all free) and many of them are glitched or don't work at all. And you have to mess around quite a bit to get a complete set if you're doing a anything more than just playing the game system... so you can mix and match (not sure if every player needs the exact same set of files). Let's say you like the board but not the minis being used (some use 2D style images, others animated figures, others 3d scans of the real miniatures, some painted, some not), or whatever. It seems like a lot more setup is required than just plug and play one module. If I knew exactly what combination of files to use, that would be a lot easier.

Or are you saying only one person needs to buy the game so others can play? Or just one person needs to download the right combination of modules (mods)?

When I have some free time I configure 1 or 2 quests there. We're playing the first Quest Book. This week we played quest 7 but I already had quest 8 prepared. Now I'll configure the 9th.

@Washi : About TableTop Simulator, the one major Workshop item that my community is using is the one called "HeroQuest Master Edition".

With this particular version ; everything is so awesome and perfect. Basically no questions asked about the assets. Verified and validated and tested by more than 200 players -- pretty much the go-to thing to get.

The minis are 3D, unless you press the NumPads so then they change accordingly ; we even have female versions of the Heroes. Some DMs actually bring a Fireplace that has an integrated illuminated flame, or even bring a more realistic sarcophagus and torture table. It's up to the DM after that. I can use a Porticullis instead of a traditional door in some instances. Nothing exagerated. The music with Orb of Music really kicks ass. I can show you as well.

Back to Roll20; now your setup has really gotten my attention. It looks so nice and clean. Beautiful art and effects. I added you. I will send a private message soon.

I think I downloaded that one. So that's all I need? Next time I load up TTS I'll check it out. I don't get on steam very often these days. I appreciate the tip. So every player does not need to have purchased TTS to play and doesn't need to download all the same files? Or how does that work?

Let me clarify :

TTS is not hotseat.

Each player must own a copy of the game.

TTS allows the game master to hide things from the players during a game.

There is a special pack available. It gives you 4 copies of TTS when you buy it. Then you give 3 of them to people. It becomes cheaper than if everybody buys individually.
