its ok on regular paper in the sleeves, but better on cardstock. You can get much higher quality printing when the paper can absorb more ink. I tell it it is "high resolution paper".

Tiles you want in a thicker cardstock than you use for cards. I printed mine on regular paper and taped them to pieces of poster-size cardboard paper cut into the appropriate sizes. You'll want to make sure the size of the tile matches the scale of your board, of course.

Thanks for all the tips guys!

I did the above but didn't do the ironing.

Can most modern printers in home in the past 10 years use card stock?

Most yes - even though a lot of home printers can't handle the very heavy cardstock. Check the manual...

I've got all my cards printed on cardstock, laminated and then cut to size. It give a quite nice result.

This.

Check your printer settings on your computer, look for paper type. It may not specify cardstock (I use the "high resolution paper" setting).

For the boards you're better printing on paper, then spray-mounting your art onto greyboad (I believe the yanks call it "chipboard"), then cutting it out with a steel rule and rotary cutter. IIt will then basically last forever.

In fact, said steel rule & rotary cutter is also good for cutting out home-printed cards as they then don't curl at the edge. You can also get corner clippers, to ake your cards nicely rounded.

Geez; why have I never considered, that obviously a tool like this exists. Order has been placed and I will await its arrival.
