Here's another pic (kinda work in progress) of the inside of the box. Next I need to finish the tray that fits inside for the minis and furniture, once its done, I'll post some more pics.

That is exquisite, and for a game deserving it. I can imagine creaking that open in a few years like a lost treasure trove. :)

Downloaded the photo to inspire me to do similarly in the future, I may go for dark wood however. :)

I was hoping it would also have a seperate shelf that you can take out for your miniatures, and that the game board would fit on top, but it's a lot smaller than I imagined it ;)

If I ever get around to making such a box, I'd probably make some sort of foam squares on the bottom, for my figures, then another flat surface on top of those with compartments like yours for the tiles, cards, dice, furniture, booklets, and then the board neatly on top of that... *dreams on*

Awesome box! Fine work indeed.

I especially like the space for tiles.

I'm planning on making a new box, now that my old one is getting too small. Think I will have a space for tiles like this, also a slot for pens.

Where does your furniture and figures go?

I absolutely love it. I'll have to check out that thing on Hobby Lobby that you used - do you have a specific
address for it?

I may try making my own little box for HQ...I actually have some wood perfect for it, too.

Actually Sjeng, thats exactly how it's going to work. I have a tray I've made for the furniture and minis to set in which sets right ontop of my HQ book you see in the picture above. The gameboard and GM screen will then be stored in the lid, with a couple of small straps holding it in place when not in use. I plan on mounting the armor and equipment information to the inside of the lid as well.

No way!? Make me one! :P
Seriously, I'd love to see some drawing plans with dimensions (metric), so I can give it a shot myself ;)

I'll see what I can put together once it's finished. I didn't really make any plans, just basic measurements. But I'll see if I can put something together.
