A lesson learned about Games Workshop

I made the mistake as a newbie to walk into the local games workshop and utter their unknown words of blasphemy on their property "hero quest" I was essentially laughed out of the store and bombarded with verbal insults. So just in case anyone is thinking of going to one of those places for heroquest stuff. Just stay away.

My experience was different. My local store manager wants and uses every available tool to pull you in. HQ is one of them. I think he knows he might be shutdown at anytime. If you are looking to paint up figures or make custom modifications, this is a good place to start.

The reason I will not shop there anymore is because I recieved a defective product and I had to go online to get it replaced... Why did I buy it there in the first place? I could have bought it cheaper on-line.

Not a chance in hell, they lost my business permanently. Main reason because the person at the counter was one of the hecklers. Super poor customer service.

Mine is different, too. They ask what I want with their color, I say painting Hero Quest, they were delighted. So that was good. However, the smell of virgins persists here, too.
Around the corner is a shop selling vallejo colors and minis from diverse manufacturers. Two guys inside, when they are not selling they are painting. No virgin smell there. Somehow I prefer that shop.

Now the only tintillating they get from their hobby are the new Dark Elves.
On the cover of their army book there is an almost naked painted-manfaced tit- and waistless tranny to cater to the social justice that has been getting a tight grip on GW.
It's so funny! I wonder if they have noticed, too. They can't even paint cleavage now...

I'm not a fan of Games Workshop either. Their business ethic over the last decade or so seems to be based on pure greed, so it will be interesting to see what happens to their company if it is completely taken over by SJW's. Greed versus intersectionality ideology; heads might explode from the sheer pressure exerted by such opposites.
So far SJW take-overs have resulted in crushingly bad sales for Marvel comics and the Star Wars franchise. If the recent debacle of hyper-feminists demanding that women be allowed into the Space Marine Corps (and the subsequent fan back-lash) is anything to go by, Games Workshop has got its own problems to solve.
