printing tiles

Postby squirrel_nutcase » March 30th, 2010, 3:40 pm

Guys, I cannot possibly afford to buy the Elf Quest pack...i just saw one on ebay for around £300 !!

I was looking at printing the tiles myself as they are available here.

Has anyone actually had any joy with trying this ? Can you possibly make them look good using a good very new photo inkjet printer ?

If so, what media should I use ?

Thanks !

Double that now.

Best option would be to have them printed on some stock at a print shop. But for home jobs, Phoenix says it best.

alright, seriously! That is getting rediculous!! It's in the same notion of a teenager trying to sell a US state...and have people bid on it!!

I wonder if the auction will end up with a non-paying bidder...

On extortionate expansion pack values-
I reckon alot of this stuff is being traded by speculators. Everything is always unpunched or unopened.

its sad really, I'd love to be able to play some of these expansions but I could never afford to buy them ! I bet the people who buy them have never even played the main game....

Miniatures aside, everything you need is available here. It's unfortunate that the price has gone that far. Hopefully it was a rare scenario and the price will drop back down to the already exorbitant price of 200-300 dollars.

eBay prices are getting way outta hand! Yesterday a North American Return of the Witch Lord expansion went for over $110US. Punched and used, too!

I got all expansions new, not opened at low prices, in a time before the lord of the ring fashion, in a ancient time where people & samll stores started to sell on ebay at low cost trying to clean their caves he he he !

IMPORTANT NOTE :

Some expansions (european) & gamesystems are unpunched and new.
Strangely I've notices it all come from Ireland, where the factories where...
Who are behind all those crazy prices ? mm ? How they can still have new boxes 2 decades later ?
Call Scully & Mulder...
