HeroQuest Avalon Hill Interviews (GenCon 2023)

A few people were interested in hearing the commentary from various Avalon Hill staffers (Chris Nadeau aka Encarmine, Patrick O'Rourke aka InterGalactic Patrick and Will Motti aka Avalon Bill).

Turn down your headphone volume for the first 30 seconds (and turn on subtitles) is my recommendation, had some sound issues at first.

Possible Spoilers...

To be fair, while it can be played using proxies, if you use the ROTDM treasure cards you may accumulate some Alchemist re-agents for use later... and an Alchemist bench does exist in the quest, so that could be an opportunity to craft some potions (max of 6 if they're lucky). There are enough potential searchable rooms in the quest that a party of four heroes could exhaust the "good" cards in the treasure deck after getting all the quest note treasures. No sorcerer's table for the new Elf bonus.

So they are basically leaving the errata to fans so they may concentrate on producing new stuff!

They've been fixing errata quietly behind the scenes, but releasing a big official stand alone document seems to be off the table. Same with releasing online "bridge quests" for past releases.
