Nippon Adventures wrote:At Games Day 1995 I was given this by a member of the Games Workshop Talisman development team- Talisman was a heroquest type game by the way. A bright pink plastic dark elf. He wasn't ever included in Talisman but he was later released for Warhammer as a monpose box of 10 swordsmen, in the standard grey plastic of the time. For some reason, this staffer had 4 different adventurer minis in bright colours (including if I recall correctly an orange dwarf slayer), why were they made in such lurid colours? GW didn't do bright colours like this then? Prototype? Test run from a mould? Internal only mini? Dunno. I've only ever heard of one other out in the wild(although I know I saw at least 10 at Games Day.) Pretty cool though.
