In addition, the new pictures only show 6 artifact cards instead of 7... maybe Elven Bracers card from classic EQP has been finally discarded because it did not appeared anywhere in the questbook?

I hope we get another online quest, like in Frozen Horror, where you find the Elven Bracers artifact! I don't want the card to get lost!

I always assumed it’s because the quest notes call for you to reverse the mirror when it’s activated by the moonsilver. That’s easier to do with a cardboard insert. Plus it’s kind of hard to show a reflected image of a bow or a princess in sculpted plastic. A sculpt of Millandriel in the mirror would look like it belongs on display at Jabba the Hutt’s place!

I was expecting a slot for that in the front of a sculpted mirror. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to whip one up in 3D.

I'm thinking the various pictures released thus far contain errors...

One photo shows five monster cards. There are only four monster types in the original version (Sinestra didn't have a card). Another shows the proper four plus the fifth card being the unique "hero" card for the male elf.

The German box lists "35" cards, but the picture shows only 34, with one of the Artifact cards conspicuously absent. This leads to speculation that the Elven Bracers were removed (you never find them in the quests)... if so, are they planning to add it as a digital card to print yourself as in the "Into the Northlands" style prelude for Frozen Horror?

Then again I thought they had enough time this time to "add" any playtests and fixes to the box itself (rather than having to release it online or hand out fliers at GenCon). I wonder if we could get clarification on this? Granted, they always have a disclaimer that these images are not final, subject to change, just like the colors may vary, etc.

Still, I would hope all the original cards would be included, and let them be used by fan decision or else addon fix. The Barbarian gets his Body and Mind point boost from the Amulet of the North. I would expect all of the heroes to get a similar artifact in their own packs...

There can be seen the cards Hynothic Blaze and Werewolf Curse, which seem to have exactly the same rules as the classic ones.

Great. I was wrong, I checked the GenCon photos again and the Elven Bracers are there! So far the only card we've seen that is any different in mechanic/numbers from the 1992 edition has been the Ogre monster card (5 BP). I'm thinking there are more skulls/single blocked square tiles this time much like Frozen Horror (kind of a filler image, some were the same image on both sides!).

GenCon also showed Werewolf Tiles.

Amazon Australia says "temporarily out of stock" in their listing. BigBadToyStore is listing it for pre-order as some other stores I hear are showing as well so far... listing Feb 1st as the release date.

I guess in other languages will be also through upcoming days... not officially confirmed by now how this questpack will be titled in Spanish.*

* The non official classic fanmade translation here in the Inn was incorrectly translated to Spanish as "El Mago del Espejo", but I hope Hasbro will translate it as "La Maga del Espejo", the correct translation. If not, it will directly go to the Errata List thread!!!

Fortunately, it seems that Hasbro will correctly translate to Spanish the title of Mage of the Mirror as "La Maga del Espejo":

After much speculation, the official release date according to Hasbro Pulse is still February 1st, 2023. However Amazon.com I see is actually listing it no longer as "pre-order" but "Buy Now." In the US at least, it appears it can be purchased right now and is expected to deliver between Dec 28th and Jan 18 or 19th.

If you do choose to place an order with them, keep in mind the shipping price is for "prime" and make sure you're actually getting it from Amazon rather than one of those 3rd party sellers (you'll notice those aren't shipping until April or September).
