The Battle Masters Ogre is about 25% larger, but a lot of that is added armor. It appears the HQ Ogre was used as a base, armor and footwear was added, and then it was resized. It also looks like the modded head and modded Spiked Mace of the Ogre Lord was used along with the off-hand arm of the Ogre Champion to complete the model.

Quinky-dink!
I uploaded a picture to the gallery with both the HQ Ogres and a BattleMasters Ogre for size comparison.

Damn, you're fast. I was searching for that very picture. Hope you don't mind if I add it to my post. It's near perfect for comparison.

If you want real-world thoughts:
Figure the barbarian would be roughly 6 1/2ft tall or so. An ogre, in my thinking, would be roughly
8 to 9ft tall.

I agree. 8 or 9 ft, but slightly hunched forward. The bigger difference is the sheer mass. 800-1000 lbs I wager.
Whereas that Warforged Halfogre (the big one, as I call it) in the picture weighs 1600-2000 lbs and towers at 11 ft.

His stats, by the way:

Warforged Halfogre:
Mov 3* Att 8** Def 7 Mind 2 Body 9
*Moving from one side of a door to the other counts as 2 squares
**Range: 2 squares over square edges, 1 square over square corner

For comparison, my stats for a regular Ogre Warrior with second hand weapon, as the two in the picture:
Mov 4 Att 5/3* Def 5 Mind 2 Body 5
*Two attacks for two different opponents

And the Cave Ogre, a miniature incorporated from DarkWorld:
Mov 6 Att 4 Def 4 Mind 1 Body 3

Plus, an Ogre Chieftain:
Mov 4 Att 6/4* Def 6 Mind 4 Body 5
*Two attacks for two different opponents

Ogre Kingdoms bitz

Postby herman_the_german » January 3rd, 2017, 12:46 pm

Do the Ogre Kingdoms bitz work with the Ogre Horde models? I'm not crazy about them, but I have an ogre with a missing head and figure the easiest way to replace the head is with new bitz... Except I'm not sure if the new heads fit the old models scalewise.

Image

Yeah. That's the headless big guy.

I'd hate to get the bitz only to have them not work.
