Ye Olde Inn

Not me. I both enjoyed watching the Inn continually rising in the ranks and looked forward to the new traffic it brought our way. by the way, thanks for voting. :cheese:

A lot of people have made this a cool place that others of like mind should be in on. We were the only board game to make it so high, holding our own against a sea of online computer games. The Inn is like a lighthouse, offering refuge. People come and go, for the most part. The more that find us, the greater the sustaining contributions we all may share in. :2cents:

I really think we should remain as confined as possible. Like an old dungeon full of riches that only the worthy will find.

Are there any worthwhile rating sites that the Inn should be represented at?

Yeah, the site has been down for quite a while. I wonder if it will ever reappear.

They count as Hits (Out) and those add up over time and remain at the beginning of the next quarter. Whereas votes only count for the present quarter and all votes are reset to 10 at the beginning of the next quarter.

Another voting quarter has started, and the Inn has yet to make the minimum 10 votes to be posted. I'm on vacation, so my voting is sporadic lately. Last quarter we made it up to spot 11 from the 30s. |_P Being high on the list can only help the Inn's profile.

I'm not happy we didn't make it to the top 10, but the number 1 and 10 spots apparently cheated by awarding in-game gold for voting. I tried to sign up for the number one site, Eternal Wars, to verify the practice, but I didn't get the required response from the moderators. It sucks they get away with it, as that site is set up to make a profit. Only someone who registers a site for voting may communicate with the RPG Gateway Top 100--annoying.

Regardless of tactics, we did very well riding on the backs of some regular voters. I'd like to thank everybody and call for another round using the links in drathe's, Sjeng's, or my sig. Our permanent rating jumped up a lot, so that works in our favor for the next voting quarter. If we do a repeat, we are due to make the top 10 despite others' shady ways.
