Hello all!
I'm a brand new member to this community an I'm 27 yo.
My first encounter with the game was when 7 years old. My dad came back from Finland where he bought the game few years before. I've never seen him play it much, maybe few times. So when I got 7, I found the game in the drawer and opened it up and it was the coolest looking game I've ever seen (still is for me). He told me that I shouldn't touch it until I get older. He told me that it was way too complicated for me to play and as I dug deeper I realized that indeed, too young for it. But then years went by snd we started to grow apart because of moving (parents broke up) and the game is still at my dads place. So few months back I started to search random stuff for the hero quest game and found Vassal engine. After that I found this website. I realy thought the game is dead and for my surprise I found alot of others who play it. So cool. Anyways, me and my dad got pretty close last few years. We once even played the game. But now Im kind of looking to be the Champion. Thats one of my goals now.
So thats my lil story!
