For us that'd be a Monday after a heavy weekend, bar trade!!!

I also have a son who's 2 years old now. Can't wait for him to be old enough to understand the game. :D

That's true Sjeng, for the most is imposible to leave. I enter the site without kids and now the first is 4 and a half, and the second is 3... Though it's hard to play HQ yet. The only game we can play now is "the dungeon!" and we have a lot of fun. In one year from now I think it will be time for the real thing.

I bought the original game, at a market, complete and in perfect condition for €20. Delighted with myself. The guy had warhammer quest for €10 but when He opened the box it was empty. I was gutted. He gave me the empty box though.

In the case of everything but base/KK/RotWL, you can get a nice selection of top-of-the-line modern figures for a LOT less than buying the originals!

That's one of the great things about this site: the only thing not provided by this site are the miniatures from the game. You can download all the quest books, print your own tiles and purchase substitute figures and you can play all the expansions. Actually, if you consider the recasts billdask does, this site even provides the mini's. But that part is at a cost.

Firstly, welcome. I am fairly new to this site as wellI have a 12, 10 and 8 yr old. I was building a Heroquest style game using all the Skylanders they got.

But nothing beats the original. And they love it. Used to have the full set with the ex-gf, and play the game with her kids. But I left all of it with her when we split. That was a mistake.

Just bide your time, watch eBay and snap em when you can. I bought my main game for $122 of eBay, then one sold the following day for $77. :P
Get your stuff ready, so your kids can dive right in.

And the extra stuff on this site is awesome. I am only now just starting to contribute my ideas. Been using this site for information even back when I was doing the Skylander game.

to be honest, a night dungeon bash with beers and snacks and good company is an excellent way to unwind on a Friday night after a loooong week at work.

As a parent... some grown ups, some HeroQuest, and a few beers, sounds downright epic.

No distractions, get a group of grown-ups together, get some beers, get playing!
