When is it ? And how is this venue called ?
Could be fun to go there with my son...

I've been there once, severel years ago, and it was huge. Great place (the game fair, not the city itself, which is rather industrial, in the ugly way), great people to meet. Plenty of opportunities to leave your money. Plan beforehands how much you want to spend.

I've never heard of this, so I'm not going to be of much use to you. However, I like to be included in things, so I commented to say I'm useless.

Hey all!

I've been thinking about going to Essen this year if time allows it. I usually have another festive weekend at that time. I'd like to hear what others know/think about Spiel.
I read some reviews, and most say it's great, but it has gotten smaller over the years. A lot of smaller manufacturers have left, and there used to be more LARP sruff.

I'd be interested to see if CMoN has a stand there where I could try and score some zombicide season 1 promos, and also to get some good discounts on games such as super dungeon explore, d&d boardgames and the upcoming mice and mystics expansion. Oh and maybe descent 2ng ed stuff too.

Is it worth going for? Thoughts/experiences?
