Toco has done a lot of work with Advanced Heroquest. You can check out his blog site here for a look at his combination of AH with HQ and Descent. Be sure to check out the info about unreleased HeroQuest expansions by MB at the bottom of the page!

Hello again, everyone, and thanks for the welcome!

There's so much here, it's been difficult to know where to start, but I'm slowly finding my way around and am amazed at the efforts some people have made with creations, well done!

I had a good critical look at my old figures and bar one or two, they all look a bit jaded so I've bitten the bullet and started all over again. I've spent a couple of hours this evening applying new black base coats to a few and when the house is quiet tomorrow will start on some colour work. I've also been revisiting the rule books for both HQ and AHQ and was very impressed with Ken's post on solo play. Maybe tomorrow I can take over the kitchen table and indulge in some well-earned nostalgia.......

I've just found this website and am totally blown away by it! I was a very keen player in my younger days, often sitting up until dawn. I still have my original game stuff, with about half of the figures painted... funnily enough, I was recently thinking of starting work on the rest and only yesterday bought some paints and brushes... spooky, huh?

Did anyone ever get into the Advanced HeroQuest game? I found combining the two a lot of fun!

Cheers
John

Hello John, tell us more about your combinations.

Hi and welcome! Hope you enjoy all the stuff we posted here. There's a LOT to use with your games.
Be sure to check out the cards section, and download my pdf's with additional spells, monsters, scrolls, treasures, equipment, etc. that I've taken from the US games for use with the EU games ;)

Hello john and welcome! Glad you came back to heroquest thanks to ye olde inn. It was the same for me one year ago :)

Don't forget to post picture of your painted minis in the miniatures section of the forum ;) we also have a community blog, i think you'll like it. http://yeoldeinn-heroquest.blogspot.com

Regarding advanced heroquest, there has been some talking about it recently, just search for "making the indigest, digest" by gravaillon.
