Welcome BlastTyrant! I'm in a similar situation as you as I also played HQ during its initial release and revisiting the vintage system and playing it with my kid and painting the miniatures and stuff. Have fun!

Hello,
Here to introduce myself and say "Hello"! I played Heroquest and Advanced Heroquest in the 90s when I was almost a teenager and loved them- Alongside Warhammer Fantasy Battle, I was quite obsessed. Big regret that when I decided to move out from home some years later and sold them all. Fast forward 30 years later and I'm back- having bough the OG Heroquest on Ebay earlier this year, painted the models and got my wife and daughters hooked. I've bought the new HQ as well, but something about the OG game that I prefer. So I'm creating Homebrew stuff (well, that's the intention) and have come here for resources, inspiration and help.
I'm on the FB page also, but thought I'd come to where it all started- yes stumbling across this page, some months back did pique my interest in coming back to HQ/Minis/painting and going back to boardgames. :)
