not sure on how the wires would degrade the foam. I cut slits in the foam for the wires to fit in.

Can you get a few more photos where you insert the wire? I know you have one shown viewtopic.php?f=165&t=5083&start=10#p98289. Is it just raw/exposed foamboard against the wire? It may be just me that worries that over time the wire will cut into the foam. Little kids aren't the softest when playing and I'd hate to see it bite into the tile. Again great work.

yes its raw foamboard that's against the wire. Do keep in mind that I coated the wires with liquid electric tape which helps them fit snugly in the slits I cut in the foam

Partially. I got a 3d file from a facebook heroquest page but I added all the wood slats to the sides and backs

Had a couple bad solder joints I had to fix and completely replaced the battery back with one using resistors so the lights collectively do not weaken every time I turn on additional lights
