[Moved from the "My first sculpt" topic of this forum on 5/4/15]

Here is my first attempt at a full physical sculpt. I used a doll/armature from reaper for the base then did all the work with milliput.
What do you guys think?

I'm just wondering (and I'm not trying to come across as an expert as I'm not) what size you're sculpting at? What is the grid size in these pics? Are these sculpts at a typical miniature size or larger with the intdnt to step down?

I think it's great to see you guys having a go at this and keen to see how it goes.

28-38mm, the squares on my mat are 10mm. So he is gaming size, if not a little big for a man.

I like the robed figure. Your paperclip spiders look good too. I'll follow here to see how other people progress.

Technically I guess this was my first sculpt, this one is a fibre glass copy after I made a mould of it.
I don't think it can be called a miniature though, more of a bigature!

If only I could change the name of this thread and turn it into "My projects thread" or something a bit more boring but relevant!

Here is what I have been up to for the past couple of days.
I saw a youtube vid of DM scotty making a purple worm and thought it was quite cool, so I added my own spin onto it and TAH DAH!
This one is going to be a present to my girlfriends uncle, he is a big D&Der, and I will make another for myself. A complete worm not under ground, it will be huge!!!!!

Forgive the pics a little, they were taken on my phone!
