Time for the final bunch from the OP. First up, my She-Elf, intended for the Elf Quest pack.

Elves are amongst my favourite fantasy races, and I always love painting them. The bottom half of the model is a plastic Warhammer dark elf, whereas the top half is anyone's guess. Along with the Barbarian Elder we discussed earlier, this metal model part is the only one I still haven't identified. I modified the torso a little to make her look more like a female, as the original metal figure was a male elf.

And finally my Warrior Hero from Advanced Heroquest. The model was missing a plume, shield and the entire sword arm when I found it. After a bit of love this is the final result.

And here he is with the whole gang, ready to step down from an "Advanced" Dungeon and enter a true Heroquest dungeon instead.

Feedback most welcome as always.

That's incredible how a small change of pose could improve the look of a miniature! That ADV-HQ Warrior always looked a dumbass in my opinion (hey GW, he is unofficially the replacement of the Barbarian in ADV-HQ), but now finally he looks like a real warrior! :barbarian:

Cheers Dante, means a lot coming from a miniature connoisseur such as yourself :D
After a roll call of my available Heroes I found I had 5 dwarf heroes, 4 Elf Heroes, 3 Wizard Heroes but only 1 Barbarian! I was keen therefore to make this mini look as much as possible like a proper Warrior, like the Barbarian might look with some serious equipment upgrades.

The stock sword arm is arguably the worst part of the warrior model anyway, so your replacement actually improves the model a great deal! Love the added dynamism! In fact, the entire hero group looks fantastic!

Thanks for the kind words :D

With the models in the OP all painted up now, the only problem I have now is choosing which Hero model to actually use now (nice problem to have). That, and painting up all my monsters to match the style of my Hero group
There's quite a lot to get through....
