Here's a website I found helpful. There are far too many to list, but several of these conventions are taking place in March, April, May, etc. Not all of them may feature Avalon Hill stuff though, but others may know which ones tend to have that stuff and hopefully report on it!

If Jungles of Delthrak is on track for a late August / early September release I fully expect to see it on full display at GenCon, if not before!

Looks like Brazil, Canada, Germany, France have conventions starting this weekend (and in the USA: Nebraska, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Texas and Ohio with more the week after). I'm going to guess that a lot of these are smaller type gaming festivals and not necessarily the kinds of places where HeroQuest news will be revealed. Seems like in the past one big convention in each of the language regions is what we've seen as far as an AH presence where they have something to show (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish).

But if anyone happens to be there, let us know what you find out!

In the US there's also Hasbro's own PulseCon (not an event open to the public, but streamed) but we seem to get very little in terms of HQ stuff then, maybe a single line of dialog and a tease image in the background (a breadcrumb in the trail of breadcrumbs for some of us!).

Will they repeat "HeroQuest Day" with the various influencers on twitch and youtube like last year? So plenty of opportunities if they wanted to show something, or they could just randomly post it on their Discord/Instagram/X or on Pulse, but we seem to have had a lot less of the Discord stuff lately, sadly, since the layoffs as has been pointed out.

I sincerely hope they do all the cons and HQ day again. But if the AH budget was slashed, then I could see them not doing a lot of appearances and influencer type things. Hope I'm wrong!

We also did not get a narrated trailer for the latest release. So to me things aren't looking so great in HQ land.

The first print run of every HQ release seems to sell out, or at least became harder to find not long after release. We've already had far more products than I ever thought they would make, including so much new stuff, there has to be a tipping point where sales start to tail off because fewer people are hungry for more content because they already have so much. They might be anticipating that, and we've already seen them selling off copies of the base game cheaply so supply must have finally met demand. This might be the phasing into more sparse boutique releases on Pulse only.

It's gotten to the point in other countries fans are actually ordering the product in English and then doing fan translations! I'd love to see them expand into other markets... many other countries and languages that the original was in that the remake is not (and of course not everyone got the same expansions so at least half the stuff is going to be new to them). But then I'm not in charge at Hasbro...! :(

There's nothing wrong with them slowing down development and just continuing to stock the old stuff. They could make videos highlighting great points of existing material, put out free quests on the Pulse page and in the app. There's lots of things they could do to fairly inexpensively promote their existing product, because a lot of people still don't know very much about it, but would buy it if they could! And so much spreads by word of mouth. You buy a set for your kids or your friends' board game group, and other people see what it could be, and may get their own copy, etc. Maybe one person has the game system and someone else brings an expansion over to play, so many things are possible.

They need to emphasize more how easy it is to mod the game and how many fan creations there are out there for free already. But they also need to expand. It's true, they can't just rely on a hardcore group that is going to buy each and every expansion as soon as it comes out, with no end in sight.

Thanks SteveRS2000 for yet another sighting: https://goblingames.dk/tematiske-spil-2094/heroquest-jungles-of-delthrak-quest-pack-p52155

So what of this discussion of the "gray bits" in the fake image? Big waste of time, or deeper mystery? Thanks Virg (on HeroQuestFans Discord) for the images and Bohemyus for the discussion suggestions (the messy one with the mirrored images and the circles on the box is mine, but he went much further):

The grey pics armor clearly looks for me with the style of the remake's dwarven armors.

I tend to agree with the assessment that this was a quick cover up done by someone to not get into trouble. As many have said on HQ Fans YouTube, it looks as if something was shared showing off more than we are currently seeing and a half baked attempt to cover up the content was made using a stock image. The figure is probably the remnant of what was there before. The fact that it's split could mean that the same figure could have been showed multiple times in either 2 separate rows or strewn about the canvas of what was there originally. Or they could be variations of the same figure like we have seen before (i.e. the mercenaries)

In the pics above, the white figure holding the mace is on an older HQ style base?? And in the plastic colour of the undead minis.
