It must have been done for game balance within the pack, but I agree the attack should at least equal the 5 AD of a smaller Ogre Warrior, just to look at him. Since an Ogre Champion has 6 AD and is a correct size match, you could just match that, though weapon quality and training also matter.

Absolutely! I made that same point a few posts back. He's huge and powerful. 4 attack dice IS a joke. I made a very quick and simple house rule to swap his attack and mind stats. It's not great but feels a lot better.

You could give him other colors of combat dice (aka "power dice") to use for his attack than the basic white...

Hi. About JoD combat dice, I would like to share with all you some comparison pictures taken by great collector and Ye Olde Inn member ivanv, where can be checked the slight differences we can find between the dice box given during past GenCon 2024 and the dice boxes being delivered right now in Europe by Hasbro Pulse website, which I guess will be equal to the ones to be presumibly delivered in North America in incoming weeks.

Of course the differences between both boxes are so minor, but exist. The GenCon box artwork is a bit brighter than the Hasbro website one which is darker, and does not have the big white sticker in the box back. Additionally, the Hasbro website box looks to have thin yellow edges in some logos, but not in regular texts, maybe linked with non-vectorized objects printing deviations, who knows.

GenCon left, Hasbro Pulse right:

Good info! So in a sense there was an "exclusive" in that the tin was slightly different.

Hasbro Pulse US has charged me for the JOD dice and tray. Hopefully that means they are on the way!

That is good to hear, very early...

If anyone does get the dice tray, please post pictures!

Although I have avidly bought anything Hasbro has put out on HeroQuest, I can't justify the price for the Jungles of Delthrak dice.

I hear you. But I fear that price creep is something that will eventually happen to all HQ product. It's just the Hasbro way.

I am NOT justifying it in any way mind you. I'm just saying that it's a reality we will have to live with in order to keep HQ alive.

Frozen Horror had six dices and a loooot of stuff and costed almost the same. Those prices for just dices... As Isildur would say: NO.
